With a Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge, and a Master's degree in Psychology from the Phillips Graduate Institute, Lital brings a wealth of knowledge to help individuals and families thrive.
Lital's expertise spans trauma-informed care, Brainspotting therapy, EMDR, and perinatal mood disorders. Her holistic approach creates a safe haven for exploring, healing, and growth. Dean Theodore is a compassionate and experienced pet lost therapist, dedicated to guiding individuals and families coping with the emotional challenges of losing a beloved pet. With over 20 years in the healthcare and medical profession, Dean brings his personal, and professional pet loss experience.
Dean’s approach to pet loss grief therapy is both empathetic, evidence based, incorporating techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, relational therapy, positive psychology, Brain Spotting, and mindfulness practices. Furthermore, he provides a safe, supportive space for clients to express their grief, process their emotions, and begin the healing journey. His deep personal experience and understanding of the human animal bond enriches his practice.
In addition, Dean has worked in treatment centers specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and addictions. He is also a member of the Association of Pet Loss and Bereavement (APLB), National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and is on the Board of Directors for START Dog and Cat rescue in Los Angeles, and advocates for animal welfare. He resides with his 4 rescue dogs better known as his Furkids, Anastasia, Malibu, Coper, Duke, who inspire his dedication to helping others navigate their pet loss grief.
